Age Friendly Worcester

Age Friendly Worcester

What is Age Friendly Worcester?

The Age Friendly Worcester Initiative is a group of community stakeholders from diverse backgrounds working together to make Worcester a vibrant, livable place for everyone, regardless of age or ability. Worcester was formally awarded the Age Friendly designation in May 2022 and will continue to pursue the next steps in this multiyear process.

This designation comes with opportunities for additional funding for community projects, positive public relations for partner organizations, economic advancement and opportunities to expand on current accessibility efforts. Community conversation, input and accessibility are at the forefront of all Age Friendly Worcester's work.
