On April 25th 2023 at about 11 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to 7-11 at 409 Park Ave for a report of a holdup alarm.

The male victim injured in the shooting that occurred on April 9th on Dorchester Street has died from his injuries. The victim is a 24-year-old Worcester resident. This is the city's first homicide of the year.

On April 18th 2023 at about 6:26 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the basketball court inside the Clark University gym on Downing St for a report of a double stabbing.

On April 16th 2023 at about 2:10 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Millbury and Providence St for a report of a road rage incident involving a machete.

On April 14th 2023 at about 6 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to an address in the June St area for a report of a male with a warrant for his arrest who was behaving erratically and making threats.

On April 13, 2023 at approximately 12:35 AM Worcester police officers received a ShotSpotter activation for shots fired in the area of Southbridge Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 36-year-old male gunshot victim in a parking lot located at Southbridge Street and Lafayette Street.

On April 12th 2023 at about 6:04 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Main and Benefit St for a report of an armed robbery of an individual.

On April 11th 2023, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers had a search warrant for a Jefferson St apartment.

On April 10th 2023, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Vice Squad possessed a search warrant for a Bluff St address and a black Jeep.
