Budget Central

Erin E. Taylor, Director

The Budget Division under the Department of Administration and Finance develops, monitors and enforces the City's operating and capital budgets. The Division provides status reports on a regular basis, as well as information and analysis for policy decisions. Reports are developed for distribution to the public and City Council describing the city's financial status and projections.

Housing & Neighborhood Development

Andrew Taylor, Assistant Chief Development Officer

Housing Development, a division of Economic Development, is responsible for assisting and supporting housing rehabilitation and new construction with an emphasis on providing quality affordable housing for city residents.

Neighborhood Development is responsible for developing and administering programs, including the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding program, to improve the quality of life within the neighborhoods of the city.

Cable Services

Cable Services, a division of the Office of the City Manager, strives to provide the residents of Worcester with innovative and transparent access to their government through video programming on the government access Spectrum Cable Channel 192 as well as online and social platforms. We strive to provide customer friendly, nimble, modern-innovative and accessible city services.

The Worcester Fire Department is dedicated to professionally serving the citizens and protecting lives and property in our community. We accomplish this mission through fire suppression, emergency response, prevention and community risk reduction.
