WPD's Crime Gun Intelligence Unit Recovers a Number of Guns

On Thursday February 12, 2026, members of the Worcester Police Department Crime Gun Unit, Gang Unit, EOP/SWAT, with assistance from the ATF and United States Postal Inspection Service executed a search warrant at an address on Pilgrim Avenue in Worcester.

Lake View Playground Improvements / DPRC

Lake View Playground Improvements  – Work to include but not limited to: demolition of existing amenities, earthworks, soil management, furnish and install, new basketball court with sports lighting, new playground with PIP rubber safety surfacing, new site lighting, new electrical service, stormwater control, water service, bituminous and concrete flatwork, chain link fencing, tree plantings, lawn with irrigation and associated site amenities and appurtenances.
