WPD's Crime Gun Intelligence Unit Recovers a Number of Guns

On Thursday February 12, 2026, members of the Worcester Police Department Crime Gun Unit, Gang Unit, EOP/SWAT, with assistance from the ATF and United States Postal Inspection Service executed a search warrant at an address on Pilgrim Avenue in Worcester.
The warrant was the result of a lengthy multiagency investigation into illegal firearm manufacturing, and illegal firearm possession, conducted by the Crime Gun Unit, Gang Unit, ATF and US Postal Inspection Service.
Upon executing the search warrant, Detectives recovered approximately 16 handguns, 7 rifles, 2 shotguns, 15 large capacity magazines, 30 additional magazines, and 4 suppressors. These items were in various stages of assembly/ completion.
Detectives also recovered, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, body armor, a 3D printer, and tools for manufacturing firearms.
The male was placed under arrest and will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
