PLEASE NOTE: The first year of implementation of the surcharge is Fiscal Year 2024, which runs from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. This full FY24 obligation will be divided between two bills: the 3rd Quarter (issued December 29, 2023) and 4th Quarter (issued March 29, 2024) bills.

The Worcester Consumer Rights Program works in cooperation with Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and it helps with various kinds of consumer complaints and grievances against any business. This is accomplished through mediation effort and outcome. The program The program engages the consumer and business in a productive dialogue and propose ideas and solutions to facilitate amicable resolution to a disagreement.
Member Responsibilities:
The Conservation Commission is comprised of up to seven members, with a position reserved for a representative from each of Worcester's five voting districts.
Children register once at the beginning of the program. Children must be registered prior to attending a Recreation Worcester site, and families can either register online in advance using the links above or they may register directly at one of our sites with staff assistance. However, if a site is at capacity, families may not be able to register on site.

Our site teams may vary in size depending on the number of children registered at each site. Our goal is to keep a staff-to-child ratio of at least 1:8. Each site will have 1 Site Coordinator in charge of the site, 1 or 2 Assistant Site Coordinators, and 5 - 10 Youth Worker staff.
