The City of Worcester transitioned from single space to multi-space, pay-by-plate meters city-wide. Starting in the Canal District, the City eliminated the single space parking meters in favor of the new smart kiosks. The upgrade is a part of the City's plan to enhance parking accommodation for residents, employees, small business patrons and attendees of large scale events.
In addition to Worcester's municipal garages, municipal parking lots are available throughout the city. These parking lots are conveniently located within a short walking distance of many notable downtown destinations.

Take a ticket when you arrive, pay at the kiosk in the lobby when you leave, then upon exit scan your paid ticket to open the gate.
The City also offers free overnight garage parking for residents while a declared winter parking ban is in effect.

To request an absentee ballot, the local election official must receive your FPCA or any other form of written communication with your name, date of birth, former residence and present residence not later than noon the day before the election.
