Blithewood Park is located on the corner of Blithewood Ave and Massasoit Road. This park features a state of the art playground, basketball court, baseball field, historic gazebo and ample on-site parking.

The park got an upgrade in 2014. This re-vamp included adding a new playground, fencing and accessible walkway upgrades to the park. The park's gazebo also saw extensive upgrades, including a new roof, repair of worn boards and a complete repainting.

Enjoy a day with the kids at the Betty Price Playground! This playground is named after the late Elizabeth "Betty" Price, a woman who led the way for African American women in Worcester. In 1973 she became the first African American woman elected to the School Committee. Mrs. Price was also one of the primary founders and director of the Prospect House, a human services agency that assisted the poor. She later became an elected member of the Charter Commission that established Worcester's present-day form of municipal government.

Bennett Field is an almost 6 acre park, undergoing renovations to the ball field and retaining wall along Gates Lane. Bennett field is located behind the state Veterans Memorial Pool in Webster Square. This park features a softball field, a playground and a pool!

Located across the street from Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium, Beaver Brook Park is home to both Ted Williams Little League and the Worcester Vikings youth football program. The park also offers numerous paved walking paths with pedestrian lighting. This, along with multiple playing fields and its sheer size, makes it one of the City's busiest and premier recreational parks.

Banis Street Playlot is a small 2,500 square foot park located on the corner of Dorchester and Houghton Street. Acquired by the City in 1947 and it was named for its location, as it is situated in "Banis Square." The park features a playground, seating and picnic tables.

A plaque in the park has an inscription that reads, "Play equipment donated in loving memory of Harold 'Mickie' Bailin through the generosity of Maurice and Ben Bailin."
