WPD Officer Arrests Female for Car Break, Vandalism

On March 30th 2024, a Worcester Police officer was working a paid detail at McDonald’s on Shrewsbury St. At about 6:45 PM, a female, identified as twenty-nine-year-old Carmen Ortiz of Channing St, walked up to a customer at the restaurant and asked him for money.

On March 27th 2024 at about 6:15 PM, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Gang Unit were on patrol in the area of Endicott St when they observed a Mitsubishi drive through the red light on the corner of Endicott and Millbury St.
