Located just south and east of Newton Hill, Winslow & Pleasant (Peace) Park is another of Worcester's newer parks, opened in 2008. At a little over half an acre, this is a simple and quaint park, featuring picnic tables, community garden plots and ample seating to just relax and enjoy the outdoors!

Ball Property
District: 3
The Harvey Ball Conservation Area, also known as Ball Property, is a City park consisting only of a nature trail. This conservation area is used as a wildlife sanctuary. Located along the Blackstone River and Broad Meadow Brook Trail, this area is known as the "Smiley Face" Trail.

Institute Park

Institute Park is a historic park which dates to the late 1800’s. Close to downtown, this park was originally an ordinary farm field and pasture. It was donated by the Honorable Stephen Salisbury III in 1887 as a park to supply a green space for the students and citizens of Worcester.

Logan Field
District: 5
Logan Field was purchased in 1928, from the trustees of the Speedway Glens. It was named for James Logan who served as Mayor of the City for four years and was a pioneer in the playground movement. The head of the Blue Square Trail, which leads to God's Acre and Tetasset Ridge, starts here.
