Located on Shore Drive, this park was completely renovated with a new bathhouse in the Spring of 2018. This park features a large beach on the north end of Indian Lake, as well as picnic areas. Beach-goers will find a new bathhouse, including restrooms, a first-aid room and a lifeguard room. The project, at Indian Lake, included drainage and walkway upgrades as well.

Please Be Advised: The use of personal watercraft on Indian Lake is prohibited.

Enjoy recently upgraded facilities at this beautiful beach within the City. Included in the upgrades are new walkways, bathroom facilities, a lifeguard room and more! This spot is certainly a jewel within the City.

City Hall Common Walkways Lined with Trees

City Hall Common

City Hall sits on the western end of the Common and is the central hub for downtown Worcester. The Common provides vital open space in the downtown area. The park includes an amphitheater, monuments and memorials and a skating rink in the winter, also known as the Oval in the summer.

Korean War Memorial

The Korean War Memorial on Worcester Center Boulevard near Washington Station honors the many men who died in the Korean War. A bronze statue of a Korea-era American GI and a Korean child was added later, along with educational signs, additional flagpoles and a Walkway of Honor.

Cookson Field

Cookson Field is located within the College Hill residential neighborhood in south-central Worcester, near Holy Cross College and the Auburn border. The park site was purchased by the City of Worcester on June 3, 1936 from Herbert E. Howe, and named for Mayor Walter Cookson.
