Greenwood Park is located on the south end of the city in the Quinsigamond Village Neighborhood section. It is bustling with lots of activities during the summer months.

Initial purchases were made in 1905, from Ezra A. Day and William Forsberg. There were subsequent purchases from eight others in 1912 and 1917 making for a total of 14 acres. The women's NCAA sanctioned basketball league is hosted there during the months of June and July. Additionally there is a playground, softball field, spray park, basketball court, nature trail, picnic areas and tennis courts available to the city public.

One of Greenwood Park's most prominent aspects is its splash pad or spray park. The splash pad has proven to be a popular park element during the summer season. It is a great way for the kids to have fun and cool off on a hot summer day!

Dodge Park Gazebo and Picnic Tables

Dodge Park

Dodge Park is a quaint 9 acre park located to the east of Indian Lake. Thomas Dodge donated the land to establish Dodge Park in 1889. In 1897, a rustic stone bridge was built over what was Arthur Spring at the time. Today, Dodge Park has a gazebo, a picnic area and nature trails to enjoy!
Blithewood Park Blue and Green Playground

Blithewood Park

Blithewood Park features a playground, basketball court, baseball field, historic gazebo, and on-site parking. The Park got an upgrade in 2014. This re-vamp included, a new playground, fencing, accessible walkway upgrades and the gazebo got a new roof, repair of worn boards and a complete repainting.

Elm Park is one of Worcester's most beloved park and open space assets. It is a historic park that was established by a progressive City looking to preserve open space for the enjoyment of its citizens. It is split in two by Park Avenue. Numerous historic structures dot the landscape of Elm Park.
