About
- The Board of Health exercises any or all of the authority vested in boards of health by section thirty one of chapter one hundred-eleven of the general laws or any other general law relative to boards of health in cities and towns, except that the board of health shall have no power of appointment.
- Promulgates guidelines and regulations concerning the medical activities of the Division of Public Health established under this article;
- Provides programmatic supervision over the activities of the Public Health Division established under this article; and,
- Performs such other duties as assigned by the City Manager or as may be prescribed by law.
