  • Synopsis:

    On October 8, 1972, emergency personnel responded to 240 Greenwood Street for an elderly woman found lying on the back steps of her home in the early morning hours. The victim was semi-conscious and badly beaten. The first floor of the house had been ransacked and the telephone disconnected. Hook was transported to the hospital and a day later she died from her severe injuries.
