  • Synopsis:

    On August 24, 2016, at approximately 2106hrs, Worcester Police responded to a radio call for a First Responder at 2 Elliott Street. The caller reported a male laid out on the sidewalk. Another caller reported hearing 1 gunshot and saw a male on the ground, didn't see anyone, and did not know if the victim was breathing. On arrival Worcester Police found a male on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side. Worcester Police began first aid. WEMS arrived on scene, treated the victim, and transported him to UMass Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Cause of death was ruled a homicide.
