Residential Drop-Off Center Now Open for Bulk and Yard Waste

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Residential Drop-Off Center officially opened for bulk and yard waste drop off on April 1, 2026. Residents can schedule appointments to drop off their bulk waste at the 1065 Millbury St. location on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can schedule an appointment online or by calling 311. 

Leaf and yard waste can be dropped off at the following locations and times:

  • 1065 Millbury Street - Residential drop-off center, next to the VFW Post. Hours of operation:
    • Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
    • Fridays 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Saturdays & Sundays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
  • 300 Chandler Street- In the parking lot across from Foley Stadium. Hours of operation:
    • Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Saturdays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
  • 299 Clark Street- Near the East Mountain Street intersection. Hours of operation:
    • Wednesdays 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
    • Saturdays 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Residents will also have the opportunity to drop off hazardous waste during upcoming Household Hazardous Waste Days on April 18, July 18, Sept. 2, and Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Residential Drop-Off Center on Millbury Street.
