The Accessibility Division assists clients in finding more permanent solutions to meet their needs by referring clients to a variety of social service agencies and programs.

Audio Journal
Audio Journal is a nonprofit radio, cable, telephone and online broadcast service. We inform and empower people who are blind, have low vision, or unable to read or hold print and visual materials.

Center for Living and Working
The Center for Living & Working is a non-profit independent living center which empowers persons with disabilities to take active roles in their lives and in the community in which they live.

Central MA Recovery Learning Center
The Central MA Recovery Learning Center's main focus is on promoting wellness and resilience through mutual support. We believe that relationships are at the center of what heals people who have experienced mental/emotional health challenges.

College Guide for Disabled Students
Prospective college students with disabilities will find that many campuses are equipped with offices and services that address accessibility, accommodation and assistive technology for a diverse range of needs.

MA Commission for the Blind
MCB provides the highest quality rehabilitation and social services to Massachusetts residents who are blind, leading to their independence and full community participation.

MA Commission for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing
MCDHH provides accessible communication, education and advocacy to consumers and private and public entities so that programs, services and opportunities throughout Massachusetts are fully accessible to persons who are deaf and hard of hearing.

MA Department of Developmental Services
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is the health and human service agency which provides a variety of supports to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Supports are designed to promote meaningful participation and inclusion in all aspects of community life.

MA Department of Mental Health
The Department of Mental Health, as the State Mental Health Authority, assures and provides access to services and supports to meet the mental health needs of individuals of all ages; enabling them to live, work and participate in their communities.

MA Office on Disability
The MA Office on Disability (MOD) works to ensure the full and equal participation of all people with disabilities in all aspects of life by working to advance legal rights, maximum opportunities, supportive services, accommodations and accessibility in a manner that fosters dignity and self-determination.

MA Rehabilitation Commission
The MA Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) helps people with disabilities to live and work independently. MRC is responsible for Vocational Rehabilitation, Community Living and eligibility determination for the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits programs.

Seven Hills Foundation
Seven Hills Foundation works to promote and encourage the empowerment of people with significant challenges so that each may pursue their highest degree of personal well-being and independence. We offer a continuum of support and services to over 45,000 children and adults with disabilities and life challenges.

Social Security Disability Benefits
Social Security pays disability benefits to people who can't work because they have a medical condition that meets certain requirements. There are two programs for benefits, the Social Security disability insurance (SSDI) program and the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program.

Worcester Housing Authority
The Worcester Housing Authority works to enhance the Worcester community by creating and sustaining decent, safe and affordable housing that promotes stability and self-sufficiency for our residents.

WRTA Paratransit Services
The WRTA is committed to providing transportation services that meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The WRTA provides transportation via regular WRTA fixed route bus service and paratransit service to seniors and people with disabilities.

The Office of Human Rights strives to ensure that all city residents are treated fairly and equally by working to reduce bigotry, discrimination, intolerance and prejudice.
