WPD’s Vice Squad Arrests Male for Drug Distribution

On October 22, 2025, at approximately 12:40 PM, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Vice Squad observed a drug transaction between a male and female on Lincoln Street. 

Shortly after, forty-five-year-old Gadson Mwangi of Worcester was found in a nearby parking lot. Two plastic bags were found on his person. One contained what appeared to be crack cocaine, while the other contained what appeared to be fentanyl.

Mwangi was placed under arrest for Distribution of a Class A Substance, Possession of a Class B substance, and Possession of a Class A Substance. The female was arrested for Possession of a Class A Substance and a warrant.
