On September 17, 2025, Vice Squad Detectives were in possession of two search warrants after a lengthy investigation into the distribution of crack cocaine. The named target of both warrants was thirty-eight-year-old William Corivano. During the investigation, Vice Detectives also developed probable cause to arrest Corivano for Distribution of Cocaine. 

At approximately 7:15 AM, Vice Detectives observed Corivano exit a residence on Duxbury Road and enter a vehicle.  He was followed to the area of Lincoln and Mckinley Road.  Detectives observed Corivano exit his vehicle and enter a local business.  Vice Detectives approached Corivano and placed him under arrest.

Vice Detectives then executed the search warrant for the residence on Duxbury Road.  Upon entry, Vice Detectives located a second male, twenty-year-old Trent James, asleep in one of the bedrooms.  Once the apartment was secured, Vice Detectives conducted a thorough search. 

During the search, Vice Detectives located a loaded unsecured 9mm firearm with an attached optic.  The firearm was in the bed where James was sleeping.  The firearm was loaded with a round in the chamber and had a magazine inserted capable of holding more than 10 rounds.  During the search, Vice Detectives also recovered approximately 30 individually packaged rocks of crack cocaine, digital scales, and drug packaging materials. Further investigation showed James does not have an LTC or FID.          

Both Corivano and James were arrested. Corivano is charged with Distribution of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine w/ Intent to Distribute.  James is charged with Possession of Cocaine w/ Intent to Distribute, Unlawful Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Firearm w/out FID, Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Improper Storage of a Large Capacity Firearm where a Minor may have Access.
