Worcester Police Department

In response to community concerns and complaints regarding double parking and public drinking, the Worcester Police focused a lengthy investigation on the A&C Market located at 6A Boylston Street. On September 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., members of the Worcester Police Neighborhood Response Team executed a search warrant at the A&C Market. While searching the property, police located numerous boxes containing flavored tobacco and vapes. Several containers of alcohol were located as well as multiple bags containing K2 also known as synthetic marijuana, a Class C substance. Police also located and seized $3,144.00 in cash currency. Officers also located a digital scale which is consistent with distribution. The store has no liquor license and tobacco exception to allow them to sell flavored tobacco. Sixty-year-old Julio Abreu was placed under arrest and charged with Distribution of a Class C Substance, Possession of a Class C Substance with Intent to Distribute, Illegal Sale of Alcohol without a Liquor License, and Illegal Sale of Flavored Tobacco.
