WPD’s Detective Bureau Investigating Stabbing

On August 4th, 2024, at approximately 4:30 AM, Worcester Police officers responded to Delmont Avenue for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a twenty-seven-year-old male, suffering from two stab wounds to his right thigh and buttocks. Officers placed a tourniquet on his leg before he was taken to the hospital. The victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening. The investigation is ongoing.
