WPD Vice Squad Officers Arrest Two for Fentanyl Trafficking on Lincoln St

On November 26th, 2024, at about 10:40 AM, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Lincoln St and Frederick St when they observed what appeared to be a drug transaction occur between a female on foot and a male in a black Honda. Officers stopped the female, identified as thirty-two-year-old Samantha Olney of Chandler St, and recovered a large amount of what appeared to be fentanyl from her. She was placed under arrest.
The driver of the vehicle, twenty-five-year-old Josue Maria of Fraternal Ave, was also stopped and placed under arrest. Mr. Maria is charged with Trafficking in a Class 18 Substance (18-36 Grams, fentanyl) and Distribution of a Class A Substance (fentanyl). Ms. Olney is charged with Trafficking in a Class A Substance (18-36 Grams, fentanyl).
