WPD Vice Squad Detectives Arrest Male on Gun and Drug Charges

On May 22, 2025, Worcester Police Vice Squad detectives were in possession of a search warrant for an apartment on Fairbanks Street. At approximately 6:05 AM, Vice detectives made entry and located the target of the warrant, forty-eight-year-old Shawn Fleury, on a living room couch.
Detectives recovered a bag containing approximately 15 grams of crack cocaine in the cushion where Fleury was laying. Fleury had an additional bag of suspected cocaine weighing approximately 3 grams in his pants pocket.
Detectives recovered two firearms from on top of the cabinets in the pantry. Detectives also found a large chunk (52 grams) of pink substance in a knotted sandwich bag from the pantry. This substance is believed to be ecstasy. Detectives also recovered packaging materials, digital scales, and drug processing materials.
Fleury is being charged with Trafficking Class B Substance 36-99 grams, Possession Cocaine w/ Intent, Armed Career Criminal (level 3), Firearm Use in a Felony (2 Counts), Improper Storage of a Firearm Under 18 has access, and Possession of Ammunition without FID.
