On July 31, 2026, Vice Detectives were in possession of search warrants for an apartment on Allen Street and a black Merecedes. The named target of the warrant was twenty-four-year-old Edison Flores.  Detectives observed Flores and a male passenger, later identified as nineteen-year-old Jorge Alvarez-Delvalle, leave the apartment in the Mercedes. The vehicle was followed by Vice Detectives. The occupants of the Mercedes were observed engaging in what was believed to be two separate drug deals with individuals on Main Street.  

 

Vice Detectives stopped the Mercedes at Main and Wellington Streets as it was parked on the side of the road.  Upon seeing Vice Detectives approach, Flores attempted to flee the vehicle on foot and resisted attempts to be placed into custody.  Flores was eventually detained and found to possess a cross-body bag that contained approximately 75 grams of crack cocaine and 20 grams of fentanyl packaged for sale. Detectives proceeded to the Allen Street apartment to execute the search warrant.  Once inside, detectives recovered an additional 10 grams of fentanyl along with drug paraphernalia.

  

As a result of the investigation and evidence recovered, Flores and Delvalle are being charged with Trafficking Cocaine 36-99 grams, Trafficking in Class A 18-36 grams, and Trafficking in Fentanyl. Flores is additionally being charged with Resisting Arrest.
