WPD Officers on Summer Impact Patrol Arrest Male for Distributing Crack Cocaine

At approximately 8:34 p.m. on August 6, 2026, Worcester Police Officers assigned to Summer Impact patrol observed a motor vehicle speeding on Illinois Street. Officers stopped the vehicle on Webster Street.
As officers asked the driver, later identified as forty-eight-year-old Timothy Carpenter of Worcester, for his license and registration, they noticed he was attempting to hide a baggie. Carpenter was placed into handcuffs. Officers found nine baggies of crack cocaine, along with two large freezer bags containing marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.
Carpenter was placed under arrest and charged with Possession to Distribute a Class B Drug, Distribution of a Class D Substance and Speeding
