On September 16th 2023 at about 2:30 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Main St for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers received information that a vehicle parked on the street was stolen. Officers observed video footage of someone checking door handles on various vehicles, then entering a white Mercedes, starting the ignition, and driving away. Officers issued a BOLO and began to search for the vehicle.
At about 2:51 AM, an officer observed a white Mercedes parked on Madison St. The officer pulled up behind the vehicle and saw that it was the stolen vehicle. The vehicle appeared to be occupied with music playing, so the officer called for backup.
