WPD Officers Charge Male with Trafficking Heroin and Fentanyl

At approximately 3:03 a.m. on October 4, 2026, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Belmont Street for a crash. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle with significant front-end damage. A motorcycle was also involved in the crash. Officers worked to identify the operator of the motorcycle. They found a bag that had been cut off of him by EMS. Officers opened the bag to locate his identification and found a large plastic bag with individually wrapped baggies of drugs along with a large amount of cash.
Thirty-one-year-old Justin Lacombe was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated. He was also found to have a suspended license and three outstanding warrants. Mr. Lacombe was charged with Trafficking Heroin, and Trafficking Fentanyl, along with the warrants. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
