WPD Officers Arrests Man At Wal Mart for Heroin Trafficking

On May 31st, 2025, a Worcester Police officer was working an assigned detail at Walmart on Tobias Boland Way. At about 5:30 PM, he was notified by the asset prevention team that two people were trying to leave the store without paying for items. A male, later identified as thirty-seven-year-old Christopher Lienczewski of Webster, was detained and questioned by the officer. Mr. Lienczewski initially lied about his name, but the officer eventually discovered his true identity, and confirmed that he had two active warrants. Mr. Lienczewski was placed under arrest for his warrants.
A search of his person revealed a large amount of what appeared to be fentanyl and heroin, and a smaller amount of what appeared to be crack cocaine. Mr. Lienczewski is charged with Trafficking in Heroin 18-36 Grams, Possession of a Class B Substance with intent to Distribute, and his warrants.
