Worcester Police Deparment

On August 6th 2023 at about 11:40 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to a business on Green St for a report of a past break. Officers investigated and determined that someone had broken into the business two days in a row and had stolen things. Officers were able to review surveillance footage and gather evidence.

Officers developed probable cause for the arrest of Rafael Perez-Crespi, twenty-nine-years-old of Main St, after reviewing the surveillance footage. At about 11:35 PM, officers working Summer Impact located Mr. Perez-Crespi on Main St and saw that he had some of the same clothes that were seen in the surveillance footage. He was placed under arrest and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Daytime for a Felony, Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime for a Felony, and two counts of Larceny in a Building.
