WPD Officers Arrest Male with Stolen Gun

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 12/19/2025 9:41 am

On December 19, 2025, at approximately 1:43 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to a fast-food restaurant on Shrewsbury Street for a report of a disorderly person. The caller reported that they had an ongoing issue with a male driver who refused to move his vehicle forward in the drive thru.

Upon arrival, the operator refused to comply with numerous requests by officers to move his vehicle. Officers eventually approached his vehicle and observed a knife under the driver’s seat. An officer removed the keys from the ignition and placed the operator, twenty-seven-year-old Aaron Wade of Worcester, under arrest. Officers conducted an inventory of his vehicle and found a green satchel with a black firearm inside. Officers confirmed that Wade did not have a license to carry and the firearm was reported stolen.

Wade is facing several charges including Carrying a Firearm without a License, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon (x2), Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card, Disturbing in Peace and Disorderly Conduct.
