Worcester Police Department

At approximately 12:40 a.m. on March 31, 2026, Worcester Police officers observed a male engage in a drug transaction with a female in the area of Main Street and Oread Place. Officers approached the female who handed him a knotted bag with a hard white substance suspected to be crack cocaine. She was charged with Possession of Class B (crack cocaine).

Officers quickly located the male on King Street. A search of his person recovered four knotted bags of crack cocaine and three knotted bags of fentanyl. Twenty-five-year-old Dangelo Aponte was placed under arrest and charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance (crack cocaine), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B (crack cocaine), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A (Fentanyl).
