Worcester Police Deparment

On October 15th, 2024, at approximately 7:40 PM officers assigned to the Worcester Police Department’s Operations Division, Gang Unit and Crime Gun Intelligence Unit responded to a home on Chandler Street for a report of a male with a gun. Upon arrival, multiple males attempted to flee from police. Officers quickly caught up with them nearby.

A seventeen-year-old male from Worcester was found to be carrying a replica firearm and a working firearm, which was loaded with ammunition. The juvenile was placed under arrest.

He is charged with Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License, Possession of Ammunition Without an FID Card, Possession of a Large Capacity Weapon with a Feeding Device and Trespassing. The Crime Scene Unit processed the working firearm.
