Worcester Police Deparment

On February 26th, 2025, Worcester Police Gang Unit officers had a search warrant for a Fiske St address. At about 5:15 PM, officers entered the residence and located thirty-two-year-old Lakeam Bennett, who had five active warrants for his arrest. The warrants included previous firearms charges.

In the apartment, officers located Mr. Bennett and placed him under arrest. They also located what appeared to be a loaded firearm. Mr. Bennett did not have a license to carry firearms. They also found what appeared to be Oxycodone pills and Mr. Bennett did not have a prescription for them. In addition to his warrants, he is charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
