WPD Detectives Arrest Male for Larceny of a Firearm

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 3/3/2025 11:15 am

On March 1, 2025, at approximately 12:44 PM, Worcester Police officers responded to an alarm call at The Gun Parlor on Prescott Street. Responding officers spoke to employees and determined that a male suspect had smashed a display case and stole a firearm before fleeing on foot. The suspect then fled in a motor vehicle parked nearby.

Detectives assigned to the case conducted a preliminary investigation after which the suspect was identified as twenty-seven-year-old Mohsin Mohsin of North Brookfield. On Sunday March 2, with the assistance of the Spencer Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Worcester Police Detectives were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody in the town of Spencer.

Mohsin is charged with Larceny of a Firearm, Carrying a Firearm Without a License to Carry and Breaking Into a Depository/Safe/Vault. The investigation is ongoing.
