Two Males Arrested in Connection with University Park Shots Fired Incident
Update: Two additional males have been arrested in connection with a shots fired incident in the area of University Park on May 27th. Twenty-five-year-old Luis Ozuna was arrested yesterday, while twenty-five-year-old Raymond Leblanc was arrested today. They are facing the same charges as a third suspect, Lugardo Flores, who was arrested last week. All three are charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (x2), Armed Assault to Murder, Firearm Use in Felony, Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License, Carrying a Firearm Without a License and Firearm Discharge within 500 Feet of a Dwelling. The incident remains under investigation.

On May 27, 2025, at approximately 8:09 PM, the Worcester Police Department received several phone calls reporting gunshots in the area of University Park, near the intersection of Illinois Street & Gates Street. Witnesses reported hearing between 10-12 gunshots.
Officers responded and located several shell casings in the area. Shortly after the incident, a 21-year-old victim arrived at an area hospital suffering from a graze wound to their head, which is considered non-life-threatening. Two motor vehicles were damaged from projectiles.
