Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle

On July 16th, 2024, at approximately 5:44 PM Worcester Police officers responded to reports of a pedestrian accident around Park Avenue and Pleasant Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a fifty-four-year-old man with serious head injuries. He was taken to the hospital. The operator of the Dodge Ram that struck the man remained on scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Crash Reconstruction Unit.
