Tax Foreclosures
The following is a list of tax foreclosures in which title has been vested in the name of the City by a decree of the Land Court. These properties are under the care, custody and control of the Tax Title Custodian. The sale, (disposition) of these properties are through public auction as allowed by statute. If you are interested in any of the properties you may contact the Treasurer & Collector of Taxes and request that it be offered at the next foreclosure auction.
Inclusionary Zoning
On May 9, 2023, the Worcester community took an important step toward creating a more inclusive and equitable city when the City Council approved Worcester's first Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance. This ordinance is designed to promote the creation of affordable housing units for rent or sale, encourage economic diversity and help prevent the displacement of low- to moderate-income residents.
