WPD Officers Arrest Male After Two Shots Fired Incidents and ShotSpotter Activation

At approximately 2:00 a.m. on September 13, 2026, members of the Worcester Police Department were dispatched to Birch Street for the report of gunshots fired.

A caller stated that a male, later identified as 31-year-old Luis Feliciano, had just fired several shots into an apartment and then left. No one was injured. While still on scene at Birch Street, dispatch had notified that a notification for a ShotSpotter activation for two gunshots occurred on Beaver Street. Suspecting it might be Mr. Feliciano returning, officers approached with caution. Upon approach, officers located Mr. Feliciano underneath a car parked on Beaver Street. Officers gave commands, and Mr. Feliciano complied. Upon checking under the car, officers located the firearm right where Mr. Feliciano had been hiding.

Luis Feliciano is facing a number of firearms charges including Possession of a Firearm without License to Carry, Possession of Ammunition without a License to Carry, Discharge of a Firearm and Strike a Dwelling/Building in use and Discharge a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling.
