United through Art, Culture & Community

Help Shape Worcester's Creative Future!

The City of Worcester is updating its Cultural Plan to build on the Becoming Worcester Cultural Plan adopted in 2019. This process will evaluate progress, identify new opportunities and develop an updated roadmap to support arts, culture, and creativity in Worcester through 2031. Community input will play an important role in shaping the plan.

Why Update the Cultural Plan?

The updated plan will:

  • Build on the 2019 Cultural Plan;
  • Evaluate progress and identify new priorities;
  • Support arts, culture, and the creative economy; and
  • Provide practical strategies for implementation.

How Will We Get There?

The project includes:

  • Research and data analysis;
  • Market analysis and asset mapping;
  • Review of existing plans and accomplishments;
  • Community and stakeholder engagement; and
  • Adoption support.
