Restrictions in Whitla Drive Area of Lake Quinsigamond Lifted

WORCESTER, Mass. – On the morning of July 27, 2026, the City of Worcester Department of Inspectional Services collected a second water sample from Lake Quinsigamond at Whitla Drive to test for E. coli levels following the sanitary sewer overflow that occurred on July 24, 2026.

The laboratory results from yesterday's water sample collected at Whitla Drive were below the action level. All restrictions are now lifted.
