WPD Officers Arrest Male on Drug Distribution and Trafficking Charges

At approximately 1:03 a.m. on February 19, 2026, Worcester Police officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Southbridge Street after a vehicle was found to be revoked/uninsured. The driver was cooperative. He and his passengers were told to exit the vehicle.
 
Officers discovered a number of bags of illegal drugs, suspected crack cocaine and fentanyl, under the passenger seat where thirty-one-year-old Juan Toro of Worcester was sitting. After an investigation, Toro was placed under arrest. 
 
He was charged with Possession of a Class A Drug with Intent to Distribute, Possession to Distribute Class B and Trafficking in more than 10 grams of Fentanyl, along with some warrants. The vehicle was towed and the driver was summoned to appear in court.
