City of Worcester, MA

WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester announced Wednesday the closure of Main Street from Federal Street to Front Street on Monday, Dec. 1 and Tuesday, Dec. 2 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. (noon). 

During the street closure, City Hall visitors will be directed to park at the Pearl-Elm Garage at 20 Pearl St. The municipality will validate City Hall visitors’ parking at this garage for 30 minutes on both days until noon. Visitors should bring their parking ticket with them to City Hall for validation.

Signage detailing the closure will be posted and police will be assisting with traffic detours.

Additional expected closures related to the filming during the week of Dec. 1 are below and will not impact City Hall operations. Times are subject to change, and motorists should adhere to all detour signage.

Monday, Dec. 1 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuesday, Dec. 2

• Salem Street from Franklin Street to Myrtle Street (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
