WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester was notified that OnSolve CodeRED, the service provider for the municipality’s ALERTWorcester system, has experienced a cybersecurity breach.

The CodeRED breach has impacted clients across the country. ALERTWorcester remains unavailable due to the incident. Please continue to follow the municipality’s social media for important announcements related to municipal services. Channels to announce critical emergency communications such as Amber Alerts and public safety notices are still active.

CodeRED recommends that users change their passwords if the same password is used for other accounts and services. The company reports that it continues to investigate the incident.
