WPD Investigating the Death of Joanna Brown

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 11/4/2025 11:54 am

The Worcester Police Department regrets to report that on Monday November 3rd at approximately 4pm, following an intensive missing persons investigation, Worcester Police Detectives located a deceased female in the area of 27 Mount Vernon Street, Worcester. Detectives discovered the female inside the previously mentioned gray Mitsubishi Outlander. This female was later identified as Joanna Brown who was reported missing by her family on Sunday November 2nd.

At this time the circumstances around the death of Ms. Brown are being actively investigated by the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office and members of the Worcester Police Detective Bureau.
