WPD’s Vice Squad Arrests Male for Drug Trafficking

At approximately 3:50 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2025, Worcester Police Vice Squad Detectives observed a drug transaction in the area of Princeton Street.
As officers approached the male suspected of dealing the drugs, he attempted to flee. He drove his vehicle at a high rate of speed and crashed into two parked vehicles. He then exited his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Detectives caught up with him and placed him under arrest. 70 grams of crack cocaine was found on his person.
Forty-two-year-old Arik Halliman of Bronx, New York is charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Operating Negligently to Endanger and Leaving the Scene of an Accident Causing Property Damage.
