WPD Crime Gun Intelligence Unit and Gang Unit Arrest Two Males with Illegal Guns

On September 8, 2025, Detectives assigned to the Worcester Police Crime Gun Unit and Gang Unit were conducting surveillance on Hitchcock Road. The purpose of the surveillance was to locate twenty-five-year-old Jeremiah Horne who had an active warrant for his arrest.
While conducting the surveillance, they observed a male exit a residence on Hitchcock Road, enter a black BMW SUV and leave the area. Detectives followed the SUV and observed several motor vehicle violations. At approximately 9:17 PM, they conducted a stop on Woodland Street. During the stop, Detectives made observations that warranted the operator, twenty-seven-year-old Isaiah Horne, to exit the vehicle. Isaiah refused and fled the traffic stop. While fleeing, Isaiah struck a Detective with the SUV. The Detective was not injured.
Detectives, joined by uniformed patrol officers and troopers from the Massachusetts State Police, followed the SUV through the city and onto I290 and I190. The SUV was later located back at the residence on Hitchcock Road. After a perimeter had been established, Isaiah surrendered to police without further incident.
Detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for the residence. During the execution of the warrant, Jeremiah was located inside and taken into custody by a member of the Worcester Police SWAT Team.
The search warrant yielded numerous rounds of different caliber ammunition, three magazines for firearms, three large capacity magazines, two polymer firearm frames without serial numbers, a tactical pistol carbine conversation kit (which changes a semiautomatic handgun into a fully automatic), parts for manufacturing firearms, 42 grams of cocaine, and numerous pills.
Jeremiah Horne was charged with Unlawful possession of a firearm, 2nd or Subsequent offense (2 COUNTS), Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (5 COUNTS), Possession of a large capacity weapon, feeding device (4 COUNTS), Possession of Ammunition without a FID, Possession of an Untraceable Firearm (3 COUNTS), Improper Storage of a Firearm, Unlawfully Possessing a Firearm/Rifle or Ammunition (2 COUNTS), Trafficking in Class B (37-99 Grams) and Armed Career Criminal Level 3.
Isaiah Horne was charged with A&B Dangerous Weapon to wit Motor Vehicle, Stop Sign Violation, Failure to Stop for Police, Operating to Endanger, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Unlawful possession of a firearm, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (5 COUNTS), Possession of a large capacity weapon, feeding device (4 COUNTS), Possession of Ammunition without a FID Possession of an Untraceable Firearm (3 COUNTS), Improper Storage of a Firearm, Unlawfully Possessing a Firearm/Rifle or Ammunition (2 COUNTS) and Trafficking in Class B (37-99 Grams).
