Worcester Police Officers Arrest Male for Selling Crack Cocaine

On August 26, 2025, at approximately 7:45 PM, Worcester Police officers observed a drug transaction on Main Street. A male, later identified as twenty-five-year-old Devonte James of Worcester, was observed reaching into his sock, pulling out a plastic bag and giving it to another male who gave James some cash.
Officers approached James who was reaching for his sock. Officers found the plastic bag which contained crack cocaine. James was arrested and charged with Possession to Distribute a Class B Substance.
