The Division of Training and Professional Development is committed to cultivating a high-performing, skilled, and engaged municipal workforce. As part of the Department of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, the division leads the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training and development programs to employees across the City of Worcester.
This division aligns training initiatives with the municipality's strategic plan and departmental goals, supports employee growth, and fosters a culture of continuous learning, equity, and excellence in public service.
Serving as the central hub for professional development, the division coordinates internal and external learning opportunities, leadership development programs, and career advancement pathways - ultimately enhancing both individual and organizational capacity.
