WPD Vice Squad Officers Arrest Male for Distribution of Crack Cocaine

On August 12th, 2025 at about 11:56 AM, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Oread Place when their attention was drawn to a male, identified as forty-four-year-old Porfirio Burgos of Chandler St, who was holding a clear sandwich bag in his lap while several other people watched.
Officers observed Mr. Burgos hand a small item to another man, who was stopped by officers. Officers determined that the item given appeared to be crack cocaine. Officers stopped Mr. Burgos and recovered what appeared to be a larger bag of crack cocaine. Mr. Burgos was placed under arrest and is charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance and Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
