WPD Vice Squad Executes Search Warrant, Recovers Fentanyl

On July 10th, 2025, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers had search warrants for a Grant St address and a vehicle. At about 9:30 AM, officers observed thirty-five-year-old Joel Alvarado Santos exited the residence and got into his vehicle. Officers pulled over the vehicle on Hollis St and executed the search warrant.
In the residence, officers located a large amount of what appeared to be fentanyl, wrapped in several individually wrapped bags. They also found a digital scale and packaging materials. Mr. Alvarado Santos was placed under arrest for Trafficking in a Class A Substance Over 200 Grams.
